My Story
From a boy in Tarbanglow dreaming of becoming an NSG commando to a mentor shaping founders across India — this is the documentary arc of Suraj Kumar.
Origins
Born in Bihar, built for the world.
Suraj Kumar was born on 06 January 1986 in Tarbanglow, Dehri-on-Sone, Rohtas, Bihar. His early ambition was fierce and physical — he wanted to become an NSG commando. That hunger for discipline would later shape everything: mentoring, entrepreneurship, and the uncompromising standards he holds today.
Growing up in Bihar gave him roots — Indian in soul, global in ambition. The same region that shaped his character would later host ventures, incubation work, and institutional leadership.
The Design Path
From coaching tables to NIFT Delhi.
In 2006, Suraj began coaching students in design tools such as InDesign — long before mentoring became a formal brand.

Enterprise & Innovation
Building when the market wasn't ready.
In 2012, Suraj worked toward Design Schoolers and introduced design thinking ahead of its time in the Indian context. Some ideas did not scale immediately — but being early is not the same as being wrong. Those experiments became the curriculum of honesty on this website.
By 2018, Trapigo partnered officially with IRCTC for food delivery and local cuisine access in trains — a venture milestone reported in Financial Express. Public leadership followed through Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhawan, with setup work in Munger and Gaya.
